Vanquished

“Dagon was fallen upon his face before the ark.”   -I Samuel 5:3

Idols may triumph for an hour,

But vanquished by almighty power

They to the living God shall bow:

And Dagon stoops to Jesus now;

And ’till an end of sin I see,

Corruption bows to grace—in me.
