TEXT FOR SUNDAY, MArch 3, 2019:

Luke 9:28-43

PReparation for worship

“The One on whom we wait is a dissatisfied Messiah. He will not relent, He will not quit, He will not rest until every promise He has made has been fully delivered. He will not turn from his work until every one of his children has been totally transformed. He will continue to fight until the last enemy is under His feet. He will reign until His Kingdom has fully come. As long as sin exists, He will shower us with forgiving, empowering, and delivering grace.”   -Paul David Tripp

“Though He now appears in such glorious majesty and dominion in heaven, yet He appears as a lamb in His condescending, mild and sweet treatment of His saints there. For He is a lamb still, even in the midst of the throne of His exaltation.”    -Jonathan Edwards

Pastor's Note

Dear Ones,

The Father says, ‘This is my beloved son, my chosen one, listen to him’. Are you and I listening? The glorious Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world has much to say.

When was the last time you allowed Jesus to correct, rebuke, or criticize you?
