October 14, 2018: Complete in the Triune God

TEXT FOR SUNDAY, October 14, 2018:

Ephesians 3:14-21

“The great heart of the eternal Father,
the great heart of the eternal Son,
the great heart of the ever-blessed Spirit,
the great heart of the Trinity in unity,
beats with love,
with love to all the elect,
to all the redeemed,
to all the called,
to all the sanctified people of God.
We are quite sure of this.” – Charles H. Spurgeon

“The wonder is not only that God the Father gave His Son but that He did so in this way, by sacrificing the one He loved. It is astonishing that He gave the Beloved for those who hated Him. See how highly He honors us. If even when we hated Him and were enemies He gave the Beloved, what will He not do for us now?”  – John Chrysostom

Pastor's Note

Dear Ones,

Happy 25th Anniversary!

Today when one looks around, it is hard to believe that once this church did not exist.

I and many of you well remember that time.

Also, today, when one looks around, it may all seem that getting here was inevitable.

It was not.

If we make it to our 30th or 50th anniversary, those will not be inevitable or a foregone conclusion either.

“Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.” – Isaiah 26:12
