WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?

It is a ‘small group’ of people who, as a response to the love of Christ, are committed to loving and encouraging each other and thinking through how God is moving them in mission. Meetings generally takes place weekly in a home, but some meet at the church at various times.

Purpose Statement: To foster change and revival in the lives of believers, and the corporate life of the church, and the world at large.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?

Small groups can be vital to the life of a believer. These groups of fellow sojourners, along with a trained leader, share the Gospel with each other and the difficulties and joys of shared life. It is an opportunity to find Gospel revival within the relationships of the body of Christ.

HOW DO I JOIN A SMALL GROUP?

If you would like to join a Small Group, there are two regular avenues for this:

  1. Begin to attend one of the open classes (Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings), and join in the various events of ministry throughout our church community. Most groups organically form from these gatherings as we begin to know one another and push each other in discipleship.
  2. Contact Karen Howe or Pastor Joe Brown to find out if new groups are forming, or if exisiting groups are open for new attendees.
