To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything.  -Tim Keller

Looking to get connected with other believers in the WEPC community? This coming academic year will be a church-wide study in Gospel Hospitality and what it looks like to share your life and faith with your neighbors. We will be working through Rosaria Butterfield's challenging book, "The Gospel Comes with a House Key". This study will begin the first full week of October. Don't miss out on this opportunity to grow in your faith, and develop new connections. The purpose of home groups is for people to be fully known and truly loved in a smaller community of believers. Here is how we are doing this at WEPC:

  1. To be reminded together that we are known and loved by our God.  This is accomplished through prayer and Bible study.
  2. To be the tangible expression to one another that we are known and loved by our God.  This is accomplished through the nurture of a safe and welcoming community to share, ask questions, and listen.
  3. To be encouraged to be the tangible expression to our neighbors that we are known and loved by our God.  This is accomplished through together praying for missional vision and conversation in our day-to-day lives.
