The Worship of our Children
WEPC’s “Children & Worship: A Handbook for the Covenant Family”
This resource was designed for the worshipping family in mind. It was created by members of WEPC and includes helpful hints for the family sitting in the seats of worship together, as well when they sit at home, walk along the road, when they lie down…
You can pick up a copy at the “Life at West End” Information Center in the gallery.
Children’s Worship
Children’s Worship is a program designed to prepare our children to become lifelong worshippers of Jesus.
Kindergarten through Second Grade students are invited to join their parents in the worship service. Before the sermon, they will be dismissed to Children’s Worship in Room 124. No Children’s Worship on the first Sunday of the month so that our children can learn about the Lord’s Supper by the modeling of their parents.

CW Lab 2012
To help our second graders grow in their understanding of worshipping Jesus in spirit and in truth, we have designed a six-week course open to all 2nd graders during the entire 10:30 a.m. worship service. Worship Lab 2012 will run every Sunday from April 15th to May 27th (except Communion Sunday, May 8th).
On May 27th, the 2nd Graders will be lead the Call to Worship and be commissioned in the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Contact Jill Wiebe-King for more information.
Worship of the Family of God
Worship is what we are created for. This is an opportunity for all of God’s people to worship and enjoy Him. Jesus welcomed the littlest children into His arms. And if they squirmed and yelled out, He still loved them. So if your little child squirms and yells out, as a congregation WEPC says, “Amen! God is working!”
Children’s Bulletins
WEPC strives to assist parents in the training of their children in worship. In so doing, we provide two weekly Children’s Bulletins that are renewed every week and that generally align with the preached text. One of them is designed for our youngest regular worshipers (4 years old to 6 years old) and the other is designed for older children. You will find these bulletins at the “Life at West End” Information Center in the gallery.
Worship through SONG
A large part of this resource are some “crossover” songs that are used often in the worship service of West End Presbyterian Church, and are easily accessible to children. The handbook includes lyrics to these songs, as well as some online resources. You can find this Handbook in the “Life at West End” display in the gallery of the church.
Please sing these songs often with your child at home and encourage them to participate whole-heartedly in worship of our Lord.
