Women's Leadership Development

What are your primary responsibilities at WEPC?

In 2016, I joined Kim Greene and Brice Bowman as part of the Women's Leadership Development team.  I help facilitate our t2 ministry, lead short-term women's groups and trust God's lead on how He will use me from year to year.

What do you see God doing at WEPC?

At WEPC, I see the Gospel changing people.

Why are you excited to be a part of WEPC?

I am excited to be a part of WEPC because I cannot walk with Jesus on my own.  I need other believers to remind me of the Gospel. WEPC is a faith-filled community that walks in repentance, learning to trust in God's grace and goodness.  And it is a joy to see how God's work within WEPC flows into our homes, neighborhoods, work places, and communities.

What is your favorite book? Why?

I really enjoy historical fiction, especially based during World War II. Current favorites are The Nightingale, The Alice Network, and We Were the Lucky Ones.

What brings you joy? Why?

Traveling! I want to see new places (preferably on a bike) and try new food (preferable outside at a cafe).  I am in awe of God's beauty and creativity in the people, places, and cultures He has made.

Tell us about your family.

My husband Michael and I have four children—three boys and one girl.  We are an active, high energy, and fun-loving crew. You would know if you sit near us at church! Together we work hard at school, sports, jobs, and relationships (at home, in our neighborhood, and at WEPC).  And we love to rest hard in front of a movie, with a a good book, or near water on a vacation together.
